    Natasha, Igor and son Ruslan

Natasha was sent to the Galich boarding school at the age of 3. At 17 she entered a Tech School to study to be a saleswoman. There she met a young man and they started living together. A year later their son, Ruslan, was born.

Natasha writes: “After Ruslan’s birth our relationship worsened. My “husband” did not help me, more than that he started drinking alcohol. I took our son and left my “husband”.  It was the hardest period in my life. I did not have means for living. But I tried to do my best to feed and bring up my child. At that difficult time I learned about Nadezhda Fund and began coming to the Ministry Center. I was accepted into the program Young Mothers (a program of Children’s HopeChest). The Fund staff helped me not only financially but what is more important they helped and taught me to live.”

“Here in the Ministry Center I met my second husband. His name is Igor. He is an orphan as well and lived at Kostroma #1. He returned from the Army and he is working now. We made a family. Igor helps and supports me in everything. He is trying to be a good father for Ruslan.”

“Ruslan already two years old, attends a nursery, and I was able to finish my education. We are expecting another baby. We come to the MC and take part in the program Young Families.

    “Life goes on!”
