Alexei, Anya and daughters Alina and Natasha
Anya lived at Ivanovo #1 orphanage while Alexei was at the Petrovsky orphanage. They went to camps together during summer and winter holidays, wrote to one another regularly and were good friends for many years. When they left the orphanages Anya entered the teacher’s college in Ivanovo while Alexei went away for technical school – separating them for a time.
The teachers college proved too much for Anya as she suffers from a severe lymph disease along with hepatitis B and C. She refocused her attention to becoming a cashier at Lezhnevo Tech School #10 and upon finishing returned to Ivanovo. There she began living with Sasha B an Ivanovo #1 friend after he returned from the army. Despite her physical limitations, Anya has always wanted to have a family of her own. The couple had a daughter Alina in June 2005 but their relationship was never very stable. When Alexei reentered the picture things grew worse and eventually the couple separated.
Anya and Alexei now rent an apartment in Ivanovo. Alexei is a loader at a sewing workshop while Anya stays home caring for both Alina and their one year old daughter Natasha. Alina attends a local preschool that she enjoys very much and she stays in touch with her father.
