Ruslan, Nadya and children Vika and Dema
“Right now I don’t work outside our home as I take care of my two children – daughter Vika and son Dema. I live in marriage with their father Ruslan. Before I had kids I received 2 professions - sewing equipment operator and painter-plasterer of the second grade.
“My family has to live in my husband’s apartment together with his father who’s mentally challenged. I’m also caring for my younger sister Tanya who’s a special needs teen. I’m dreaming about living in a separate apartment and happy family life. I also would like to get higher education.
“I don’t have any special talents but I think I’m fun and optimistic.
“In my free time I like to relax and talk with my friends or take a walks with my kids.
“I’m a christian. I’m baptized and both my kids are baptized too. I consider myself a believer but I don’t go to church often, only on big holidays. For me faith is an opportunity to unburden my soul, to cry out my grief and get consolation.
“I don’t have any heroes but in other people I value such qualities as kindness, sincerety, openness and understanding. I see these qualities in Nadezhda Fund staff. It’s here that I go to when I have problems. The Fund has been providing me with moral and material help for years. I’ve always been an active participant of different programs and activities run at the MC. My family currently participates in Young Families program. Recently I’ve received financial assistance to buy medication for my little son Dema who was born with asthma. I always get excellant advice here on how to manage conflicts with my husband. Though our life together has not been a bed of roses, I’m trying to keep it and Nadezhda Fund helps me a lot in this.
“Thank you for running such programs as Young Families and special thanks for the seminar in Vladimir led for the young families in November 2009.
“I wish you health, happiness, love, good friends, many kids and all the best!
Love,
Nadya”
