  • Young Families Training Update

Each month the families in each region are treated to seminars on a variety of topics. Recent classes in Ivanovo included: ”A way to behave with a nervous child” and ”A way to behave with a kid making a “scene.” Below are a few comments from parents that grew through this experience.

Nastya is jealous of my affection for her little brother and making scenes. Me and my husband tried different things: explanation, distraction, persuasion – nothing helped. On a training lesson I learned how to deal with this problem. Now Nastya is my first assistant. Thank you very much for helping us find the answers to our questions. I’ve got lots of them.

Our Sonya doesn’t always want to go to the kindergarten willingly. Often in the morning we are run of feet to be on time at work and kindergarten. We often have to talk her into going and we do it in a peaceful way because we don’t want her to go there in a low mood and tears on the face. On the training I’ve got useful information how to turn her attention to something else, tune her positively.

Additional classes included discussions on “Marital fidelity”, “Respect in the family”, “The hidden meaning of fairy-tales”, and “Games for developing children’s fine motor skills”. The young parents are always eager to attend the classes. They enjoy exchanging ideas and asking questions among their peers.
