In September ’11 the participants of the program “Leader” held a meeting with the residents of the Suvorov’s Family Center in Galich. Four leaders went to Galich this time and 6 residents of the Family Center took part in this get together. The two parents who are the caregivers and the psychologist of the family were involved, as well.
The main subject of discussion was the following – “Every person shapes their future as early as today”. Every leader shared the story of their success or failures and after this the residents talked about their free time and school.
Alexei N. – one of the participants of the meeting. “We were given such a warm welcome and everyone was listening to us so attentively that I came to realize we weren’t just wasting our time. The residents of the Family Center will take advantage of this get together.”
By the way, Alexei got married not long ago. Together with his wife Alexei is expecting a baby. Alexei is also one of the Interns at the MC.
Pavel S. “I remember my first meeting with the residents of this Family Center . I became very close with the kids as well as with the parents and I now come to visit them on my own whenever I’ve got some time to spare.”
Our plans for October are to visit the Ostrovskoye Orphanage and the Shelikovo museum and country estate.
