    Impressions from some of our special activities follow…

    • Orientations ’11 – designed for new orphanage graduates, each region has a party seminar to help young adults find their way in new environments
    • Life Skills ’11 – 4th trip for leaders Bill & Holly Yoest was a great time.
    • Sharing Faith ’11 – A unique trip for American travelers that led to broader understanding of Russian culture and spirituality.
    • January Leadership Trip ’11 – Quickly becoming a favorite goal for many of the older orphans, this year’s trip added an element of involvement that was a big hit for all.
    • Regional Holiday Parties – Each year Christmas parties are held at each of the regional ministry centers. Perhaps the only holiday celebration many of ‘our kids’ will be invited to, these parties are well attended.
    • St Petersburg Leadership Journey ’09 – Special leadership group of orphans selected for an overnight outing to St Petersburg
    • Young Families Retreat ’09 – Program expansion is jump started by a special weekend for Young Couples and their families from Vladimir, Kostroma and Ivanovo (no detailed report available)
    • Junior Achievement Seminar ’09 – American team teaches Junior Achievement basics course to over 100 orphans at Vyazniki Technical School
    • Life Skills Seminar Trip ’09 – American volunteers reach out to Older Orphans in friendship with greatly appreciated skills for everyday living (no detailed report available)
    • Day of Care ’09 – group of Russian volunteers from local corporation enjoy a day of renovation, recreation and relationship with Vladimir Ministry Center youth (no detailed report available)
    • May ’09 Art Symposium – renowned American artist and teacher shared her passion for painting with 10 young artists from Vladimir, Ivanovo and Kostroma regions
    • Easter Leaders Trip – a spiritual and educational overnight fieldtrip for older orphans with leadership potential
    • February ’09 Winter Vision Trip – small American group led by George Steiner to access Orphan’s Tree programs
